The TSP1000 direct thermal receipt and ticket printer is the latest innovation from Star Micronics. This unique printer has been developed with various applications in mind. The large paper roll capacity and the cutting-edge ticket/receipt stacker offer functionality previously not available to the direct thermal printing market.

For applications requiring a high-performance affordable thermal printing solution with a long service interval and easy field-serviceable design, the TSP1000 is the perfect fit.

The TSP1000's 16-bit microcontroller greatly reduces the time required to process data sent to the printer and aids in increasing throughput. Couple this with the 180 mm (7 inches) per second speed and the true advantages of the exceptional performance of the TSP1000 become evident.

In addition to the more than 20 embedded international character sets/codepages, the TSP1000 also supports Star's Digital Raster printer drivers allowing for printing of graphical and TrueType fonts from Microsoft™ Windows™, Linux™ and Mac OS X operating systems. Star also provides support for the most common industry standards, through Star's OLEPOS and JavaPOS software packages, allowing for easy integration into nearly any system.

The TSP1000 is available in two (2) different set-up configurations. The TSP1045 configuration is for 82.5mm paper width, industry standard for the lottery and airline markets. The TSP1043 is configured for 80mm paper width, the standard for retail and hospitality applications.

Many applications require the printing of multiple tickets or documents in one batch. With the typical direct thermal printer, this means a long scroll of tickets draped across the floor or falling behind a service counter. In the Case of the TPS1000, tickets/documents can be queued in the "stacker" automatically. The stacker can handle up to 30 tickets in a single batch; perfect for stacking restaurant orders in kitchens eliminating the possibility of misplaced orders.
